THANK YOU💚for all your support during the first year of CPMHC’s existence!
We owe a debt a gratitude to our National Committee and Social Media Ambassadors and YOU for taking our mission and vision to heart and supporting our campaigns with passion, tenacity and dedication.
This year we launched Canada’s first ever petition for a national perinatal mental health strategy to the House of Commons.
Not receiving the answer we had hoped for, we are moving forward with doing the work of creating a blueprint for the government with recommendations for a strategy which we plan to deliver to the Prime Minister directly in 2021.
Our survey for health care providers on screening and treatment practices across Canada (part of CPMHC’s first research ethics board approved study with the University of Calgary) will form part of our report to the government.
We will also be publishing the CPMHC’s first book and Canada’s first anthology of perinatal mental health stories 📖 and we will continue to #getloud and sound the alarm with campaigns throughout the year to call attention to perinatal mental health care 💚💙
We look forward to your continued support in 2021 and beyond! 💚💙
We know it’s been a tough year for so many and that’s why we need a national perinatal mental health strategy #nowmorethanever and the CPMHC will continue fighting for Canadian families to receive the perinatal health care they so desperately need and deserve 💙💚
